The House investigative committee has released a collection of around 70 photos obtained from the property of late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the third disclosure from a cache of in excess of 95,000 photographs the body has acquired from Epstein's property. It includes photographs of passages from the book Lolita inscribed across a female's body, and redacted images of women's international passports.

This action comes hours before the 19th of December cut-off for the Justice Department to disclose every records connected to its inquiry into Epstein.

"These latest photographs raise more inquiries about exactly what the Justice Department has in its possession," said the senior Democrat of the committee, Robert Garcia.

These are the newest high-net-worth, powerful men to be photographed in Epstein estate photographs disclosed by the oversight panel - formerly disclosed pictures also include US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, former US treasury secretary Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.

Showing up in the images is does not constitute proof of any wrongdoing, and many of the photographed figures have said they were not participating in Epstein's unlawful actions.

In a statement released with the image publication, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein property holders did not offer context or timings for the images.

"Images were selected to furnish the American people with openness into a illustrative selection of the images acquired from the property, and to give perspectives into Epstein's circle and his extremely alarming behavior," the statement reads.

The publication also includes several images of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov book Lolita penned in dark ink across different parts of a woman's body, such as her chest, lower extremity, pelvis, and rear. Lolita tells the story of a young girl who was groomed by a middle-aged literature professor.

A particular passage from the book inscribed across a female's upper body states, "Lolita: the tip of the tongue traveling of three steps down the roof of the mouth to alight, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a number of photographs of women's identification and identification documents from states worldwide, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the details on the IDs, like identities and DOBs, is redacted but the committee stated in a press release that the passports are associated with "females whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were engaging".

An additional photograph shows Epstein positioned at a workstation in close proximity flanked by three female figures whose identities have been censored - one individual has her palm on Epstein's upper body under his clothing, and another individual is crouching to look at a nearby device. Epstein seems to be helping the third fasten a bracelet.

A further photo made public is a image of text messages from an unidentified person who says they have been supplied "some girls" and are demanding "$1000 for each individual".

Photo Disclosure Occurs Before DOJ Cut-off

The committee has a vast number of images in its holdings from the Epstein estate, which are "simultaneously graphic and ordinary," its statement on recently clarified.

The House Oversight Committee first legally compelled the property of Epstein, who passed away in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while facing trial on accusations of sex trafficking, in August.

The photographs and files the Epstein estate's representatives gave to the committee are different than what is often referred to "the Epstein files". That material are records within the justice department's control associated with its independent inquiry into Epstein.

Pursuant to the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which President Trump enacted last month, the DOJ has until 19 December to disclose its records. The full nature of what's found in the DOJ's records is unclear, and it's likely that a large amount of the content will be heavily obscured, akin to Congressional releases
