Recent Processing Facility Strike Demonstrates 'Absolutely No Protected Locations in Russia's Deep Rear'

Ukrainian UAVs have hit the Russian Bashneft facility in Ufa, located around 1,400 km from the Ukrainian border, causing explosions and a blaze, as reported by a source in Ukraine's SBU.

This marks the third intelligence deep strike in the region in the past month. Such strikes show that there are no protected areas in the distant backlines of the Russian Federation.

Zelenskyy Appeals to Trump to Mediate Peace in Ukraine

In Russia's adjacent territory of Belgorod, a lorry operator was fatally wounded by a Ukrainian strike, as stated by local officials.

Power Recovery Efforts in Kyiv

Efforts proceeded on the weekend to repair energy infrastructure in Kyiv, after strikes by Moscow.

Electricity had been returned to more than 800,000 residents by Saturday and the biggest power firm stated the primary efforts to repair the grid was concluded though certain disruptions persisted.

Anti-Aircraft Actions and UAV Interceptions

Ukraine's anti-aircraft systems downed or disrupted 54 of 78 enemy drones deployed targeting the country overnight, the air force announced on Saturday.

Russia's military authorities said it eliminated 42 UAVs from Ukraine over Russian territory.

Cuba Rejects Allegations of Providing Soldiers to Ukraine

The Cuban government on Saturday refuted American assertions it has deployed military personnel to engage in the hostilities, while stating officials in Havana "do not have precise details about Cuban nationals" engaged "voluntarily" or "as part of the armed units of both sides".
